I also had several facial procedures with Dr. Banthia. The consultant , Dee, was more than just someone trying to make a sale. I also was stressed and scared. I have to agree with Alina s. Dee went over and above board to make me feel comfortable, treating me as a human and not just a patient. She pushed no one particular procedure, but explained all my options. When I met with Dr. Banthia it was a two way dialogue. I explained what I was looking for and he listened, answered my questions and concerns, and made suggestions on what my options would be. Neither Dee or Dr. Banthia applied any pressure. Dee was always available to answer my questions while I considered my decision. Post surgery followup was exceptional by both Dee and Dr. Banthia. I also agree with David W. The staff was always professional and accommodating. And I too have been complimented on my skin and how refreshed I looked.

Dr. Gujrati was the first doctor I met when I came to the office. From the first, he treated me with great kindness. He explained everything that was going to happen and answered (patiently) all of my questions. I find that it is very rare today to find someone that is an excellent surgeon but also a very caring person. I was never just “the cancer reconstruction,” I was a real person. After the surgery, Dr. Gujrati called to check on me several times. How wonderful to find a great surgeon, but also a wonderful man.

No one would elect to have skin cancer, especially on a prominent part of your face. However, there are some things we don’t get to choose, so I found myself with two basal cell carcinomas on the forward section of my nose. The treatment of the cancer required the removal of a lot of tissue so I was referred to Dr. Gujrati to repair the damage from the earlier surgery. He altered his schedule so I could go directly from the first [dermatology] surgeon to his office where he quickly began the reconstruction process. This was a great favor to me since I lived out of town plus my nose was still numbed from the earlier treatment. From the time I met them, I was very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of Dr. Gujrati and his staff. They did everything they could to accommodate my schedule and give me the options concerning my treatments. Of course the main concern was the repair of my nose and I don’t think anyone could have done a better job than Dr. Gujrati. It was not an easy procedure due to some scar tissue and the location of the cancer but Dr. Gujrati did a great job. I am very pleased with the results and I would heartily recommend Dr. Gujrati to anyone requiring reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Gujrati performed a lower face lift, as well as a couple of more minor procedures on my facial area. I was young (32) to have a lower face lift, but for years I had a complex about my appearance and my chin and neck areas. Although I am not overweight, I had a lot of fatty tissue and sagging skin in these regions of my face. Dr. Gujrati did a wonderful job with my surgical procedure. When he removed the bandages the morning after my surgery, my mother immediately said that my jawline area was not that defined when I was in junior high school. I am thrilled with the results.

I have had Juvederm filler done twice at Reviance and have been so happy. Nisha has treated me both times and she is awesome. I'm sure many people claim to be a "master injector" but Nisha is a master injector. Some discomfort, of course but tolerable. I've had juvederm done once before seeing Nisha and she was so much better. If you make an appointment, I highly recommend you ask for Nisha and she's really nice too!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Pollards for some time now. When I first started utilizing the services at Reviance I was living in Stockton. There were many spas and qualified plastic surgeons closer, but I made the long drive down to San Jose because I felt Dr. Pollard and his staff were worth the drive.
I have done Botox with Nisha and have had several facial laser treatments and I'm delighted with the results, (thanks guys). I recently decided to have my upper eye lids done by Dr. Pollard. The results are wonderful, I'm so pleased!!
Dr. Pollard is a talented surgeon, a generous human being and a pleasure to work with. He is current with new techniques and products and does not encourage unnecessary procedures. He is realistic in explaining the results that can be achieved and he is an honest and straightforward individual, all great qualities in a doctor or a surgeon.
As far as the pricing, you can't beat it. The regular prices are hard to beat, but add a special on to that and sha-zammm, I'm in! Who doesn't love a good sale? ...

This place is amazing! I had my eye lid surgery with them less then two months ago. I love Dee! She was so nice and friendly and made me feel right at ease when I was feeling stressed and tense! The doctor answered all my questions and was very honest and straight forward with me. No sugar coating which is great. After about spending 15 minutes with him, my ideas were very clear and I felt that he was the right doctor.
At first, I was not ready for this procedure, emotionally, so I let Dee know that I still needed to consider this before I make such a changing decision. She was persistent and had a date ready for me. Dee was very nice and supportive, and I think she does great work at this office. She even called me back to follow up with me. So sweet.
About the Doctor, the incisions he made were so precise and carefully placed that I can't see them at all today. I felt supported and well cared for. Within a few weeks of the surgery, I was back to my normal!!
The environment is clean, fresh, and calming! I definitely will go back . Thank you guys.

I just had my 6 week check up for a Reviance face lift with some neck contouring. I was VERY happy with the result, subtle but a WORLD of difference when you look at the before and after photos. The care of the staff was great and Dr. Pollard is very patient! Surgery is surgery but this was relatively painless and I am delighted with the result.
My favorite part is that the Anna (the young nurse) holds your hand for the parts that might hurt :)

I've been going to Reviance (previously Sona the Benya) for years nowfor various skin care treatments and laser hair removal. The staff iswonderful and the doctors and estheticians are professional and veryskilled. I've been going to Sophie for years for almost all of mytreatments and she is just amazing! This past year I got a littlebraver and had the laser liposuction done on my abdominal and flankarea. I've been wanting to do this for years because I just could notlose fat in this area even though I diet and exercise regularly. Iactually shopped around a bit but decided on Reviance because I havealways had such good results there and trusted that they would do agreat job. I was not disappointed...the procedure was fairly simpleand I was up and around by the next day. I could see the resultswithin a week and they just continued to get better over the nextcouple of months. The results are exactly what I was hoping. I woulddefinitely recommend Dr. Banthia and Dr. Fan for this type ofprocedures and would not hesitate to recommend Reviance for any type ofprocedure.

I have been to this location twice and have had the microdermabrasion . Lorena, my new favorite esthetician, did the job. I have terrible skin and have been to many, many spas, estheticians, dermatologists etc and never met anyone as sweet as Lorena. She makes you feel like you've known her forever, totally unpretentious, very gentle, no sales pitch...she is the best and because of her I will be going back for more treatments. Did i mention she has years of experience? I would imagine the rest of the staff at Reviance is nice but if you want an really wonderful experience see Lorena!

Wow ... I am so impressed with the quality of the service that I received at Reviance! I have had a number of procedures ... all of which I am very happy with (botox, fillers, hand rejuvination and laser lipo). Dr. Banthia is outstanding, the technicians were excellent and very knowledgeable and the customer service that I received from Dee far exceeded expectations. Reviance's services are reasonably priced, but most importantly, I am thrilled with the results! I highly recommend this organization!

Best place for microdermabrassion in San Jose!
Everyone there were friendly. I had a microdermabrassion there and the aesthetician was friendly, personable and knowledgeable. She has 20+ years of experience and clearly knew what she's talking about. Reviance uses DermasSweep technology for the microdermbrassion.
I've tried the traditional crystal microdermabrassion , Vybradermabrassion and Dermasweep by far gives the best result for my skin. The aesthetician did dry micro first on my skin with a brush, then followed with wet micro to infuse my skin with salicylic acid/gylcolic acid ... depending on your skin type.
Highly recommended!.
Nice place. Great location, located across from Westfield Valley Fair. Easy Parking.

The staff at Reviance, San Jose, CA are exceptionally talented and personable. I have had botox injections with Sandy R.N and Nisha R.N.---both of whom were knowledgeable and precise re: where to place the Botox to get the maximum benefit for ME.and what I wanted. I have since purchased the BOGO offers for facials and hair removal for my family. Excellent prices that make excellent gifts....Dr. Pollard will be my surgeon of choice once I choose my date for my mini-nip tuck. I am impressed with the No nonsense no fills no bells no whistles type approach ....No high Pressure sale pitches either. Just GO TRY IT OUT....It's a perfect fit for those of us educated enough to know what we want re: services and treatments within the Cosmetic Dermatology field. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS STAFF AND SPA.

I am so happy with the results of my botox and filler on my smile lines, chin and forehead. It is only three days on and it looks terrific. (Dr Banthia) was really friendly and checked in with me to see how I was doing with the pain the whole time. This was my first experience with this and it was a great experience. It was not painful to me and the results are amazing. Thank you to all the staff for their friendly manner. Their professional and friendly manner made the experience very easy and enjoyable.

Not too long ago I made the decision to get permalips at Reviance in San Mateo.
It is one of the best things I have ever done for myself!
The procedure did not take very long.
The staff was very helpful and the atmosphere was very warm and friendly.
Dr. Pollard and Dr. Banthia were kind and professional.
I am especially greatful to my personal surgeon Dr. Banthia for the wonderful job he did. He was gentle and exceptionally attentive. It was because of this that I had a truly positive experience.
If you are thinking about getting perma lips I highly recommend this group.
My husband now keeps a picture of my lips on his cellphone as his display.

Since I've written my review I've receive numerous inquiries as to how my treatment went and if I've gone back since June. I have gone back and had my final treatment on November 11th. I am pleased with the service I received and outcome of my treatment. I am officially tattoo free and HAPPY. The staff is attentive and informative. My nurse Nisha was the best! She's easy to talk to and it didn't feel like I was at the doctor's office at all. It was comfortable and like you were hanging with a friend. I enjoyed my experience with Reviance so much that I've recommended friends and family to the office. They too have gave positive feedback to me about the office and staff. I wish they used Yelp so that they can share their experience.
