What is Arm Liposuction?
Also known as a brachioplasty, an arm lift is a surgical procedure that targets the loose, excess skin of the upper arms. Skin can often lose its elasticity as a result of aging, genetics or extreme weight loss. But with our arm lift techniques, we are able to remove excess skin and fatty deposits and create a tighter and more youthful contour of your upper arms. Specifically, we specialize in eliminating the excess fat in your arms with arm liposuction.
To see how you can benefit from this procedure, we suggest looking at some arm lift before and after pictures. And if you’re concerned about arm lift costs in Santa Clara, we can promise that the end results will make it worth it. Call us today to set up your initial consultation.
How is Arm Liposuction Performed?
The arm lift procedure is performed in our medical facility as an outpatient procedure. General anesthesia can be used if desired, but minimal sedation is all that is required. Your surgeon will make an elliptical excision of the skin, with any scarring being hidden on the inside of the arm. For best results, your arm lift may be performed in conjunction with liposuction to suction out excess fat.
How Do I Know if an Arm Lift is Right for Me?
If you have excess, flabby skin on your upper arms due to aging or weight loss, an arm lift may be the solution. There’s no reason to have to hide your arms under baggy clothes all year round. As you’ll see in our arm lift before and after pictures, you can go from flabby to toned and chic all with one simple surgery.
What Type of Post-Operative Arm Liposuction Care Can I Expect?
Arm lift surgery typically leaves patients in mild to moderate pain. However, recovery time is relatively short, and you should be back to work within a week or two. Your surgeon will provide you with a compressive dressing that will be removed after one week. And depending on how extensive the arm lift is, he may need to insert drainage tubes to remove excess fluid, which will also be removed after one week.
What are Arm Liposuction Costs?
Arm lift costs are based on a number of factors, including whether or not you’ve decided to have this procedure in conjunction with liposuction or any other surgery. Every patient has a different goal in mind, and it’s our mission to help you attain that goal. Call us today to learn more or to set up your initial consultation.
