Vish Banthia, MD FACS, is double Board-Certified and holds several accomplishments in the medical field for his research and other educational and medical device contributions. His lectures have taken him worldwide to share his expertise in facial and cosmetic surgery, and his list of publications is extensive. Dr. Banthia has lectured on his techniques in minimally invasive surgery and laser surgery to plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons and dermatologists throughout the country. He is a member of several societies and organizations dedicated to facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Banthia received a selective Humanitarian Travel Award sponsored by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery to be part of a surgical team performing pro bono cleft lip/palate and microtia surgery in Honduras. In 2006, 2008, and 2011, Dr. Banthia was recognized as a "Top Doctor" or "Top Surgeon" in the Bay Area.
