How is a Face Lift Performed in San Jose?
Typically, the face lift procedure can be performed in one to two hours without the need for general anesthesia. However, a Réviance face lift is typically combined with neck contouring procedures in those patients who would benefit from additional neck procedures. This procedure can make a dramatic change in the way you look by tightening sagging muscles and skin of the cheeks, jowls, and neck (“turkey neck”). In contrast to traditional facelift procedures, all patients who undergo the Réviance Neck & Face Lift appear natural. Results are long-lasting because there are no shortcuts taken (this is a SMAS lift – anything less is not worth your time or money). The procedure can often be complemented with Fat Grafting or Juvéderm, Restylane, Perlane, Radiesse, Artefill or other Fillers to re-volumize the areas of the face that are sunken and deflated and have essentially lost volume. Fat Grafting or Fat Transfer removes fat from one area of the body and transfers this fat into the face to yield an enhanced harmonious and well-balanced appearance.
Also known as a rhytidectomy, your face lift will begin with an incision that is strategically hidden in the hairline and in the crease in front of the ear. In addition to repositioning and tightening underlying tissues / muscles, excess skin will be removed, and the remaining skin will be re-draped to give it a very natural, more youthful look.
