Severe thinning hair with a receding hairline: a common problem. One surgery, only four months later, a natural, full head of hair. Second, third and often more sessions can be performed to add more coverage and thickness.
In one surgical session, the most common areas of hair loss can be pinpointed and improved. Even with only a medium transplant session, the hairline is noticeably and naturally improved! More severe hair loss will be better served with a full transplant session and repeat surgeries will add increased coverage.
Some patients have severe loss localized to specific areas, which can be targeted during surgery. A large number of transplant grafts are dedicated to areas of complete loss to achieve the thickest, fullest, most natural results.
As can be seen here, new, naturally growing hair can be placed in areas from which it had been completely lost! Hundreds of hairs are tightly packed in to give that full, thick coverage that is desired by our hair loss patients.
The frontal part of the hairline can often just need some subtle thickening to correct the appearance of “gaps” or “empty rows” when the hair is swept back or wet.
